Hi, I’m Athena!

The photographer behind Vast Pixels, based in San Diego.

Vast Pixels began from my love of noticing the small, fleeting details in nature — the curve of a flower, the wings of a butterfly, the texture of leaves, and the tiny little creatures that often go unseen.

My photography focuses on flora, fauna, and quiet outdoor moments, capturing the little details that make the natural world feel magical.

I’m currently building the Vast Pixels Mail Club, a monthly photography-inspired package featuring postcards, stickers, and paper goods. Each piece is created from my original photography and designed to feel like a small piece of nature you can hold onto, gift, or display.
